Ambassador Mohib Received Annual Hillvets Award 2016

Afghan Ambassador to the United States Hamdullah Mohib was honored at the 2017 annual Hillvets 100 Gala with the first International Award ever to be presented. He was listed as one of four government officials in all of D.C. to be recognized for his engagement and influence with the veteran’s community and for his incredible efforts to reach veterans and thank them for their service and sacrifice in Afghanistan, as well as their partnership with the Afghan National Army and National Police.

Hillvets is a bipartisan group of veterans, service members, and supporters focused on empowerment through networking, community involvement, and education. They have created a strong infrastructure and community that empowers veterans to help others and them in progressing up the career ladder. The Hillvets 100 highlights the most influential veterans, service members and supporters from 2016. The list of 100 includes veterans of all eras, from the Vietnam War to the more recent Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.
