Ambassador Rahmani participates in CSIS’s event: The Strategic Importance of the United States in Afghanistan

H.E. Ambassador Roya Rahmani joined the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ (CSIS) Senior Vice President; William A. Schreyer Chair and Director, Project on Prosperity and Development Senior Vice President, Mr. Daniel F. Runde, to discuss Afghanistan’s social, economic and political progress over the past 18 years. Ambassador Rahmani emphasized how promising Afghanistan future looks like in the light of the major development in the areas of education, women rights, youth, security forces, and democracy.

H.E. Rahmani stressed that Afghans will not go back under any circumstance and they repeatedly demonstrate their full commitment and determination to safeguard the progress they made during the past 18 years. She also mentioned the importance of highlighting all the positive progress made.
