On June 8, the Embassy received Afghan graduates from National Defense University (NDU) who had completed their Master’s degree in Strategic Security Studies and diplomas from the United States Army War College (USAWC).Graduation took place on June 2, 9 and 10 at its Fort Bragg, Fort McNair and Norfolk campuses. The recent graduates were recognized for their hard work and given appreciation certificates. The young adults will be returning to Afghanistan to serve in key positions within the security sector. The Embassy considers this a valuable achievement for the graduates who can bring positive change and professionalism to the Afghan security sector.
