He spoke to seminar students who served alongside Afghan special operations forces about their experiences in Afghanistan, primarily how to build upon the successes of the Afghan Commandos, who are a symbol of bravery and unity across the country.

Ambassador Mohib also lectured to defense analysis students about the current political situation in Afghanistan. He discussed with students the many achievements that have been accomplished since 2001, but also the challenges the country still faces.

Wednesday evening, the Naval Postgraduate School and President of NPS, Ronald A. Route held a reception to honor Ambassador Mohib in which Ambassador Mohib thanked attendees for America’s support of Afghan troops and sacrifices against the common threat of terrorism. Afghan veterans also attended the reception. Ambassador Mohib spoke to President Route and NPS senior leadership about the school’s programs, specifically discussing the possibility of introducing Afghan military officers to the university’s strategic planning master’s programs.
